Polishing plastic watch crystals

Scratches can be removed by buffing the crystal using a muslin buffing wheel and plastic polishing compound.

If scratches are deep, sand the crystal with 400 grit sandpaper before buffing.

With the muslin wheel mounted on your polishing motor, lightly touch the polishing compound to the spinning wheel, which will apply a small amount of the compound to the surface of the wheel.

Lightly polish the crystal using short circular motions and do not stop in any one place.

Crystal should be removed from bezel for best results.
