Shipping instructions

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS AND CONTACT INFO


Ship your item to us using the USPS (Post office), registered mail with insurance and a return receipt, to our postal address listed below.  This is also how your item will be sent back to you. Please do not send the original box or literature your watch came with when new unless requested. We will not store them nor keep track of them for you, boxes and the like take up too much space in our storage area and cannot be put in the safe. As well, send $20 along with your watch; this is the cost of the estimate. Why? 

We only ship packages through the USPS, registered mail.  Please do not send your watch with a prepaid Fed-Ex or UPS return label, we will not use it, there are exceptions under certain circumstances.

Pack the item in a medium-sized box using plenty of soft packing material. Send a paper with the package that has your name, address, daytime and nighttime phone numbers, email address, and a description of what you want done and/or the problem you are experiencing. Please only use "CWC" as the 'To' address name, not "Carignan Watch Company, Inc." This ensures that no one will know that there is a valuable watch or jewelry item in the package, adding a small measure of security.


Payment is expected when services are rendered, Please note we are not responsible for goods left on hand for more than 60 days after notification (or attempt of notification) of completion.  Please be sure your contact info is correct and complete because If we cannot contact you for any reason or if the item is not paid in full after 60 days the item/s will be considered abandoned and will become property of Carignan watch company unless other arrangements have been made in advance

We are sick of chasing our money, storing peoples finished  unclaimed items, and babysitting. If you cannot, or do not plan to pay your bill or think you may not be able to make payment for any reason PLEASE do not send the item.  If you have something happen in your life that may make it difficult for you to make your payment or may cause you to disappear for months you need to contact us at once to make other arrangements. You also need to let us know of changes in your address and/or contact info.

It is a shame that we should even need to put the above statement on our site but there are people out there that are too irresponsible to pay their bills or even realize they need to.


Due to the current volume of work, please contact us before shipping your item. We will not service any knockoff or replica watch. In addition, we will not rush any job.  Please do not contact us excessively to get status reports. If you feel you cannot wait like everyone else, we will gladly return your item and move on to someone else’s.  If you are thinking of sending your watch and need it “fast” or “cheap,” please consider sending it elsewhere. We hope you understand and look forward to serving your needs. If you choose to send an estimate request via our form, email or phone, please be patient; we sometimes receive hundreds of requests per week. We will respond as soon as we can.

To ease your mind about shipping your watch or jewelry, I can tell you that I ship and receive hundreds of packages every year and I have never had any problems. That doesn't mean a problem can't happen, but it is unlikely. We take every precaution possible to ensure the safety of every item we receive.
