Watch Repair Shipping Instructions

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS AND CONTACT INFO

NOTICE
EFFECTIVE 2-25-11

DUE to unprecedented demand, and to assure top quality to our customers; we are only accepting new orders on a VERY LIMITED basis until further notice. PLEASE do not send any watches or clocks at this time unless you contact us first. If you are willing to invest the extra time it will take for us to get to you we will be happy to take on your repair.

If you have a job with us Please DO NOT ask for status on current that job unless it is an emergency or it has been an exceedingly long time. We are striving to finish all jobs as soon as possible and will contact you when your job is finished, or if we have any trouble or questions. 

We are not trying to be snobby, we are simply unable to continue to invest huge amounts of time on the phone and email answering constant status requests while we have so many jobs to finish. 

Our turn around on most jobs will be AT LEAST 90 days.

 We will be at our store during regular hours so if you have a concern leave us a message.

Please Print This customer info form , fill it out, and send it with your watch.

Ship your item to us using the USPS (Post office), registered mail with insurance and a return receipt, to our postal address listed below.  This is also how your item will be sent back to you. Please do not send the original box or literature your watch came with when new unless requested. We will not store them nor keep track of them for you, boxes and the like take up too much space in our storage area and cannot be put in the safe. As well, send $20 along with your watch; this is the cost of the estimate. Why? 

We only ship packages through the USPS, registered mail.  Please do not send your watch with a prepaid Fed-Ex or UPS return label, we will not use it, there are exceptions under certain circumstances.

Pack the item in a medium-sized box using plenty of soft packing material. Send a paper with the package that has your name, address, daytime and nighttime phone numbers, email address, and a description of what you want done and/or the problem you are experiencing. Please only use "CWC" as the 'To' address name, not "Carignan Watch Company, Inc." This ensures that no one will know that there is a valuable watch or jewelry item in the package, adding a small measure of security.

To ease your mind about shipping your watch or jewelry, I can tell you that I ship and receive hundreds of packages every year and I have never had any problems. That doesn't mean a problem can't happen, but it is unlikely. We take every precaution possible to ensure the safety of every item we receive. Our shop is complete and modern. Our store is protected by cameras and a monitored electronic security system. We only use the highest quality tools, materials and parts available. At CWC, you will never be treated like a number and we will do everything possible to ensure your total satisfaction.  We can provide references upon request or you can visit our Testimonials page.

Payment is expected when services are rendered, Please note we are not responsible for goods left on hand for more than 60 days after notification (or attempt of notification) of completion.  Please be sure your contact info is correct and complete because If we cannot contact you for any reason or if the item is not paid in full after 60 days the item/s will be considered abandoned and will become property of Carignan Watch Company unless other arrangements have been made in advance. 


We are unable to continue chasing people for payment, we cannot store peoples finished unclaimed items forever. If you cannot pay your bill or think you may not be able to make payment for any reason PLEASE CONTACT US TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS! If you have something happen in your life that may make it difficult for you to make your payment or may cause you to disappear for months you need to contact us at once to make other arrangements. You also need to let us know of changes in your address and/or contact info.  We want you to know that we will do anything possible to work with you if you are having financial difficulties that may cause you to have a hard time paying your bill with us. So please call us if you need to make payments on a repair.
Unfortunately there are actually some people out there that are too irresponsible to pay their bills or even realize they need to.
